Something to make life a little easier for you! Dear Mr Sample We’ve been looking at ways to cut down the paperwork you need to do whenever your mortgage repayments change. Paying by standing order, as you do at the moment, you need to fill in new forms every time the amount changes. However, there is a simpler way. Can I recommend that you join the thousands of Principality customers who choose to pay their mortgage by Direct Debit? With Direct Debit, one single instruction from you is all that’s needed This covers all future changes and makes sure that your mortgage repayment are always adjusted correctly to the new amount. You won’t have to fill in any more forms, no matter how often interest rates change, or how many mortgage account you have with us. Changing to the Direct Debit scheme is easy, and a form is enclosed for you. Completing the form means you shouldn’t need to contact your bank again to change your monthly mortgage repayments. As you would expect, you will be protected by thorough safeguards, which we guarantee: • You will always know how much you are paying, and when. We can change nothing without notifying you in advance - usually within seven working days. • In the unlikely event of a mistake being made, you are guaranteed an immediate refund. You can see the details of this guarantee in the leaflet enclosed. • You are free to cancel your instruction at any time. We’ll be happy to arrange the change over to Direct Debit for you. Simply complete the enclosed form and return it to us in the freepost envelope provided. We’ll then cancel your existing standing order and set up a new Direct Debit to cover all your future mortgage repayments. We’ll write and let you know as soon as we’ve done this. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us on 029 2023 4422. We look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely David Richards Customer Services Manager P.S. With Direct Debit, you can also time your payment
to go out after you are paid, by choosing any date between the 1st and
26th of the month. You’ll find a place on the form for this.
